Once it's made known you are only interested ordering off the vegan menu, the ordering process is fine. The Desi 4 spice level I requested was made and delicious in my Mysore dosa. Adding vegan mango lassi would get me back faster! Unsure if the a/c was broken the night our group was there, it was sweltering and why I gave a star less for atmosphere.

Due to allergies, we prefer a fully vegetarian restaurant. This is a rare restaurant with great food in North Austin. We mainly ordered Indo-chinese food and it was great! The Chinese bhel was unique and crispy and tasted really good. Other items like Gobi Manchurian, noodles, Veg Manchurian (with gravy) were great as well. Portions are generous too. Wish they would open another in South Austin!

I ordered the food through uber eats. This restaurant displays as buy1 get1 free but they are not actually giving it. I got just one item but not the get1 item free. Also the packaging from this restaurant is way worst than any restaurant. My raita and side chutney are all spilled inside the bag. When I informed them they said it’s Uber’s driver mistake. The Pulav item quantity is very less in $13.99. I will not buy from this restaurant and will not suggest anyone. The store guy didn’t take their accountability.

Everything we ordered had perfect taste like india. After so many days had good north side food specially Maharashtrian. Do try this if you want to taste maharashtrian food. We ordered special pav bhaji, dry manchurian, aalo cheese veggie toasted sandwich and wada pav. Everything was perfect. Wada pav is best compared to what all i had in austin.

We recently visited Honest Restaurant with my family for dinner, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and truly lived up to the name “Honest.” We tried the dahi puri and pani puri, which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tandoori momos were a standout—smoky, juicy, and full of taste. The aloo paratha was soft, well-cooked, and comforting, and the sabudana vada was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed family dinner. The staff was polite, attentive, and provided quick service despite the restaurant being busy. Staffs are incredibly humble and welcoming. Their dedication to quality food, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction truly shows. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere!
